One A Day - Tuesday Tallies

Source: Google

Before I begin on Tuesday Tallies I just wanted to give a warm welcome to lovely new followers, I'm glad you've come along and also I wanted to say a HuGe thank you for all the sweet comments you have been leaving me, they really do make my day that you've taken the trouble to read what I have to waffle on about! :) I'm so pleased to have brought back lovely memories for you about the GoRgEoUs Brambly Hedge.

So, back onto Tuesday Tallies, part of the One A Day project over at Gingerbread Girl.
Now, what with a bit of a sad and stressful week I have just managed to stick with my one hexagon a day for my Hexagon Love Rainbow Blanket.........

I have 14 PrEtTy rainbow hexies.  These colours really do brighten the darkest of days. But, note to self: sew in the ends as I go!! :)

Be sure to hop on over to Gingerbread Girl and take a peek at the other one a day projects.

  2. All those hexies sure do look good together. It's going to make one pretty blanket. Yes, tie in your ends as you go....I didn't do that when making my blanket out of circles and it took me forever to weave in!
Also, thanks so much for your lovely comment on my new blog!

  6. Definitely stitch in the ends as you go! I am terrible about that, and you end up with a horrible task at the end if you don't ...

  11. Ohhhh, we have matching projects! :) Yours is looking great, and you are joining yours in a much more organised way than I did he he. I do recommend sewing your ends as you go, as I hate sewing them all in at the end and I feel better for sewing as I go :)

  15. Gorgeous hexies - I never really thought of them as crochet before. I wonder if they are quicker then patchwork.

  17. I am so behind with my blog reading and here you are with sadness and celebration and a bit of Brambly Hedge and I missed it all. And some colourful daily hexies to round things off, which given the week you've had, seems like quite an achievement to me. I've not your excuses and I've barely managed a stitch!

Love that top pic it really gives a sense of scale. It's going to be a mega lovely blanket :D

  18. Your rainbow hexies are very pretty. I just saw a rainbow through the sun when I was taking a picture of the river. I love rainbows, and I think that when we see them, it is a gift.
